Amy’s House is a 7,500 square foot group residence located in Haverhill, Fl. The facility, owned and managed by the non-profit Palm Beach Habilitation Center, provides residents with a home environment and residential skills and training in order to maintain and improve each person’s level of independence. GroundStone has been contracted to manage the planning, predevelopment, and construction of this truly inspiring project.
Amy’s House will house six adults with disabilities in a home-like environment which will include independent bedrooms with private bathrooms, formal dining room, great room with informal eating area, screened porch, covered garage and a large outside yard and garden area. The home will be situated on a site close to public transportation and in a neighborhood that will welcome and enhance the lives of each resident. Supervision will be provided on a 24-hour basis by trained staff who will assist each person in reaching their maximum potential.
